The drive is not only gorgeous, but just long enough to enjoy that getaway, road trip feeling. The region feels completely different but is still close enough to be efficient with your time! Grab your partner, or family and friends and let the peaceful landscape help you take a load off. You will enjoy two beautiful Texas-sized porches where you will watch sunsets in the evening and listen to wildlife in the morning. You will feel a sense of peace enjoying nature, and feel free to do a whole lot of nothing for a while! You will lounge off the patio in a Cowboy Pool to help beat the heat in the summer! It is also heated so you can enjoy it during the colder months! You and your group can hold a ping pong tournament in the loft, along with other games that will surely keep the kids entertained for hours. The kitchen has a large island surrounded by bar seating, which opens up to a beautiful living room with a fireplace, two couches and two chairs. The space was intentionally designed to facilitate connection and conversation with your group. The loft has ping pong, mini-basketball, an extra TV for gaming or movies, and a futon. If you have a larger group, the loft holds an adult size bunk bed with very comfortable full size beds. The massive bunk bed has 2 full size beds and if needed, a third full size slide-out trundle bed. The bunk is perfect for sleeping a full family, all the kids, or any group combination! Welcome to your modern-country "home away from home"!

If you are interested in having slightly more than 10 people in your party, it can be accommodated. Please contact me. Please pay attention to property lines and do not cross into our neighbors land (easily identified by fences and electric lines). Our Hill Country Escape is located in Vasterling Creek Ranch, on a beautiful and private 55 acre lot. You will find us off Ranch Road 152 west of LLano and close to Castell. The high side of the property, where the home sits, has gorgeous hill country views surrounding it. Please remember that you are in the country, so please be aware of your surroundings, as snakes and other wildlife are present. If you'd like to enjoy a walk or jog, we recommend you do so on the main road coming in, which is very rarely used. We are only 3 miles from the famous General Store in Castell, where you can find good people, food and drinks. The frequency of activities happening at the General Store are amazing, so definitely check it out and drop in for a meal, drink or full-on party!
